Where are Oliver & Smith products manufactured?
We are glad you asked! Our products are designed and manufactured across the world, including Malaysia, Indonesia, and China.
Where can I try out an Oliver & Smith mattress or bed frame?
We have a retail space where you can come in and try out the goods. You can find our showrooms at 122 Muirhead Ave ,Trenton New Jersey, US 08638 and in California.
Do I need a box spring?
Neither our beds or mattresses require a box spring . Our beds come with a slat system that supports your mattress. If you purchase just our mattress, The need for a box spring will all depend on if your frame type requires one.

What flame retardants are used in mattresses?
We do not use any chemicals in our process. Instead, we rely on a fire sock barrier.
How do I know if my mattress is causing my back pain?
You can tell if your mattress is causing your back pain, if you wake up with pain or stiffness in your back, or if your pain improves when you sleep on a different surface.
What is the best sleeping position for the back pain?
The best sleeping position for back pain is on your back with a pillow under your knees or on your side with a pillow between your legs. These positions help to keep your spine aligned.
Can foam mattress cause back pain?
A foam mattress can cause back pain if it does not provide adequate support or if it is too soft.
Why does a foam mattress hurt my back?
A foam mattress can hurt your back if it does not provide enough support for your body, causing your spine to be out of alignment. Additionally, some people may find that they sink too deeply into a foam mattress, causing pressure points and pain.
Why does my mattress not reach its full height?
Fret not. While our mattresses take about 48 to 72 hours to fully decompress, sometimes this process can take up to a week. You can still sleep on the mattress while waiting for it to fully decompress. Actually doing so will help the process!

How do I know that your mattresses are safe?
All our mattresses at Oliver & Smith are 100% Green Foam Certified, meaning that they are made of the highest-rated non-toxic foam available. All of our mattresses have been tested and meet rigorous safety requirements so that you can sleep with peace of mind.
How do I clean an Oliver & Smith mattress?
If there are any spots or stains, you can clean with gentle soap and a clean towel. Do not drench the mattress and foam. It is always best to use a mattress protector to prevent any liquid from staining the mattress.
Can I wash my mattress cover?
If your mattress cover comes with a zipper and a label that says washable, you can go ahead and remove the cover to be washed. Other mattresses and covers do not need removal and are not washable, so please leave the cover on if there is no washable label.

How can I cancel my order?
If you have placed your order via Oliver & Smith website url here you can cancel items or orders that haven't entered the shipping process yet by submitting a cancellation request via email at support@oliverandsmith.com
Returning/Refunding a decompressed or unfolded mattress?
If you have already decompressed or unfolded your mattress, we suggest donating them to charities like Red Cross and other charities that provide local pickups. You can even donate them to churches or any nonprofit organization as long as they can give a proof of donation or receipt. Send your proof of donation to support@oliverandsmith.com so that we can start the refund process.
If you cannot donate the mattresses to a charity or nonprofit, you may also dispose of them at a local disposal or recycling center. Some organizations provide free pickups for furniture disposal, check with your local authority. Remember to ask for a disposal receipt, together with the address and contact details of the disposal location and/or photos of the item being removed. Then forward the information to support@oliverandsmith.com and we will begin the refund review.
Do I need to be home to receive my delivery?
Yes, someone needs to be available to receive the products during the delivery. If you cannot be home, please have a neighbour, friend or someone else receive the products on your behalf.
Do you offer removal services for old mattresses or furniture?
We are working to offer furniture removal services soon. But right now, we do not offer removal services just yet. Check with your city if they offer pick up services for mattress or furniture disposal.
How much is delivery?

What is the weight limit of an Oliver & Smith platform bed?
We do have weight limits, but they are just suggestions. Many reviews show that our beds are able to stand greater weights.
Twin: 250 lbs
Full/Queen: 500 lbs
King/California King: 500 lbs
(Excluding the mattress)
Do I need a box spring with an Oliver & Smith platform bed frame?
Box Springs are not required for our bed frames, as our platform beds come with slats.
Do I need any tools to assemble the bed?
All the tools needed are already provided in our packaging. All you need to do is read and follow the instructions that come with the delivery boxes, it’s that easy!
Will my mattress sit on top of the bed frame or inside the frame?
All our beds are designed to have slats on the frame level so that mattresses sit on top of and not inside the bed frame.

How do I claim a warranty?
We always try our best. But despite our efforts, sometimes mistakes do happen. If there are any faults in the products or any manufacturing defects, we will help you sort it out as soon as possible.
